Anon Optics Ecommerce Experience
Ecommerce Product Design
As part of Anon's migration to Shopify, I partnered closely with Ecom, Product and Marketing teams to design and deliver the creative foundation for the new digital experience. While the overall template was developed in partnership with the agency BAO and our Ecom Strategists, I was responsible for designing many of the site's key creative components, product storytelling experiences, and reusable UI assets. My role centered on translating complex product technology into intuitive, engaging digital experiences while ensuring every component aligned with the premium Anon brand.
I designed not only individual pages, but also scalable UI components and content systems that could be reused across the site while giving customers the information they needed to make confident purchasing decisions.
Interactive Lens Guide
One of the most rewarding pieces of the project was designing Anon's interactive Lens Guide.
Anon offers a wide range of lens tints engineered for different weather conditions, but communicating those subtle differences online presented a unique challenge. Working closely with our Product team, I helped develop an interactive experience that allows customers to compare how each lens performs in sunny, variable, and cloudy conditions.
Collaborating remotely, we carefully refined the visual representation of each lens until it accurately reflected the real-world viewing experience. The result transformed a highly technical product story into an intuitive comparison tool that helps customers choose the right lens with confidence.
Value Proposition Iconography System
To improve product discoverability and reinforce key technologies throughout the shopping experience, I designed a comprehensive library of value proposition icons used across product listing and product detail pages.
The icon system created a consistent visual language for communicating product features, making technical information easier to scan while strengthening Anon's overall design system.
Designing for Scale
As the project neared completion, I transformed our collective learnings into a comprehensive set of Figma templates and design guidelines for the organization.
The library documented component dimensions, image specifications, safe zones, responsive behavior, and content best practices, giving future designers a clear framework for creating new ecommerce assets without reinventing established patterns.
By turning individual design decisions into reusable systems, the documentation helped scale the team's work, improve consistency, and accelerate future production across the ecommerce platform.
Bringing New Stories to Life
Following the Shopify launch, I became the primary designer responsible for creating Ecom experiences supporting Anon's product launches and brand campaigns.
Working alongside Marketing, Product and Ecom teams, I translated campaign concepts into storytelling moments and landing pages that balanced creative with commerce. Each experience was designed to showcase new collections while guiding customers naturally toward product discovery and purchase.
One example is the Year of the Horse collection launch, where I designed digital assets and a landing page experience. From layout and visual hierarchy to responsive behavior, every element was crafted to maintain the integrity of the campaign while delivering a seamless shopping experience across devices.
Because these experiences were built within the design system established during the Shopify migration, they could move efficiently from concept to development while maintaining consistency across the broader Ecommerce platform.
